Doodle Art for Strathmore Workshop Week One, Massive Mixed Media, 2012.
Being in school online has done some crazy things to my art brain. Both of these photo's are of the same image, and strangely this doodle looks very different in person. It is a big contrast to working on a computer, which, in the end, doesn't really change from computer to print. But this, this is back to the 'old' ways of art making...what a nice return/change.

London is the greatest city in my experience on earth this far. Nothing is more pleasing than roaming the sweet streets and sucking up all the diversity in art, music, books and journalism. I doodled constantly while visiting. There was no shortage of inspiration. This is one such doodling.
Imagination 1, and 2, 1992.
The first image is a very small painting, and was created after a heated argument over wondering lips. The second was created after I accepted there was nothing I could do about another's actions, so I was trying to make the best of it. Meanwhile, after a few days...I ran these two through live trace, in Illustrator... The second one is rather nice, I think I am in love.
